Quick start
Load from side A of the first part and press START at the title to begin the prologue. When giving your name, use the cross keys to select a character, press A to enter, and press B to cancel. After entering your first and last name, select ED and press A to register. During the investigation, select ``listen'', ``view/investigate'', etc. using the up and down buttons, and press A to execute. When the cursor appears in the picture, point at the target in all four directions and press A. To interrupt, execute "Stop" with A, and follow the instructions to save or replace the disk.
Controls
D-pad up and down: Command selection. Four directions are used for the cursor and character input in the scene to be investigated. A: Command execution, selection decision, next page when ▼ appears at the end of a sentence. B: Cancel command or input. START: Used during start and save procedures, not during normal investigation. SELECT is also used for selection at the start and does not normally have any functions under investigation. To save, select "Stop" and follow the on-screen instructions; to resume, select "Stop".

This is a mystery adventure in which a boy who has just become an assistant at the Soraki Detective Agency investigates the death of Yoko Kojima, a high school girl who was found in a riverbed. At Ushimizu High School, where Yoko attended, there were rumors of a blood-stained ghost called ``The Girl Behind'' who called out from behind. Find out why she was researching the ghost story and gather clues from her best friend Ayumi Tachibana, teachers, and students. The progression is based on a command selection system, and it is important not only to listen to the story, but also to investigate the surroundings and the other person's situation, show them your belongings, and summarize your deductions in the office. New information will increase the number of questions and things to investigate, so organize the flow of the incident by going back and forth between conversation and observation. This work is the first part of the previous two parts, and to proceed to the second part, you will need to record the disc on which you have completed this investigation.
