Ring King — About this game

Family Boxing is the Japanese Famicom release of the boxing game known as Ring King in North America. The boxer moves freely around the ring and can jab, hook, uppercut or work the body while defending and conserving power. Victories award points that can be assigned to Punch, Speed and Stamina, giving the tournament a light progression system. Empty swings and incoming blows drain power, so spacing, guarding and clinches matter alongside aggression.
