How to Play Ring King
Quick start
Choose Training first and invest earned points in Punch, Speed and Stamina. Close distance with the D-pad, use A for punches and B to defend or evade. Mix straight punches with directional hooks and uppercuts instead of swinging continuously. Mash A+B during breaks and after a knockdown to rebuild power.
Controls
D-pad: move. A: straight punch; D-pad toward opponent + A produces a hook or uppercut depending on alignment. B: defence/dodge/duck. B then A while horizontally aligned: body blow. Rapid A+B between rounds or while knocked down: recover power. Start: start/pause. Select: cycle modes.
Ring King — About this game
Ring King is a NES boxing game with arcade-style bouts and a persistent fighter-building layer. The D-pad controls ring movement, while contextual direction and button combinations produce jabs, hooks, uppercuts and body blows. Wins provide power points for Punch, Speed and Stamina, and a password preserves progress. Because missed punches and damage consume power, a successful career depends on defence, clinching and rapid recovery between rounds as much as nonstop attacking.
