How to Play Family Mahjong
Quick start
If this is your first time, check the tiles and roles in the lecture or practice mode before proceeding to the actual game. On your turn, press A to pick, move the cursor to the left and right tiles, and press A again to discard. When dealing with other players' discarded tiles, use the direction keys to declare a cry or reach, and press B when you can win. If you are in doubt, don't hesitate and decide on one role first.
Controls
D-pad left and right: Select the tile to discard. A: Tsumo/discard selected tile. D-pad top: Reach. Right: Pon. Left: Chi. Bottom: Kang. B: Ron or Tsumo Kazuryo.
Family Mahjong — About this game
``Family Mahjong'' is a single-player mahjong software that includes courses to learn about tiles and roles, practice in calculating points, and actual battles against the computer. It is characterized by a structure that allows beginners to memorize the rules step by step, rather than just hitting Hansho. In the game, you select a discard tile on the left and right sides, and input each input for Tsumo, Pon, Chi, Win, Reach, and Winning. It's an orthodox four-person mahjong game where you read the candidates and positions on the screen and decide whether to cry or stay in front of the gate.
