How to Play World Class Track Meet

Quick start

Set the mat to Side B and begin with the 100 Meter Dash. A solo runner uses the left control area: alternate two adjacent panels as fast as possible after the signal. For hurdles, lift both feet just before each barrier. In Long Jump, leave the mat at the takeoff line; Triple Jump repeats the jump-and-land action twice before the final leap. Stop running at the line to avoid a foul.

Controls

Family Fun Fitness mat, Side B: alternate adjacent panels in the active lane to run; leave the mat to jump and step back down to land. Solo Dash and Hurdles use the left control area; player two uses the right. Solo Long Jump and Triple Jump may use either side.

World Class Track Meet — About this game

The European Stadium Events cartridge uses Side B of the Family Fun Fitness control mat for four events: 100 Meter Dash, 110 Meter Hurdles, Long Jump, and Triple Jump. Alternating two adjacent panels drives running speed, while leaving the mat registers a jump. Two competitors can race simultaneously, and tournament-style play can register up to six in turns. This entry is for the original European release, not the later Nintendo-branded World Class Track Meet, so its title and Family Fun Fitness accessory identity are retained.
