How to Play Dance Aerobics
Quick start
Set the Family Trainer mat to Side B. On the mat menu, step on 1 for Dance Aerobics, 2 for Pass Stamp, 3 for Pad Antics, or 4 for Aerobic Studios, then step on 6 to begin. Start with the first dance lesson and press only the zones highlighted green on screen. The normal controller's Start button pauses and resumes; confirm Japanese mat support before playing in an emulator.
Controls
Family Trainer Side B: zone 1 selects Dance Aerobics; 2 Pass Stamp; 3 Pad Antics; 4 Aerobic Studios; 6 starts/confirms. During lessons, step on the numbered zones shown in green. Standard controller Start pauses/resumes.
Dance Aerobics — About this game
Family Trainer 3: Aerobics Studio is the Japanese Famicom version of the exercise game later called Dance Aerobics. It uses the twelve-zone Side B layout of the Family Trainer mat for four activity groups: progressive dance lessons, Pass Stamp records, Pad Antics music and imitation games, and Aerobic Studios lasting 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes. Players step where the screen flashes green and build longer patterns as lessons advance. This build expects the original Japanese Family Trainer interface rather than a standard controller.
