How to Play Street Cop
Quick start
Map the Family Trainer or Power Pad as Side B before starting online. Hold the neutral stance on 6 and 7, then alternate those inputs to run toward the X on the map. Practice sidesteps on 5 and 8 and turns on 10 and 11 before closing in. Use pad 4 for the club, and enter a left or right doorway with 2+6 or 3+7. This ROM is the Japanese Manhattan Police release, not the English Street Cop text build.
Controls
Power Pad/Family Trainer Side B: alternate 6 and 7 to walk or run; jump off both for a jump. Press 10 or 11 to turn around, 5/8 to sidestep left/right, 4 to swing the club, and 1/9/12 to use items. Use 2+6 to enter on the left and 3+7 on the right. Standard controller: START starts, SELECT chooses after game over, A swings the club, B fires the pistol or uses an item; the D-pad is unused.
Street Cop — About this game
Family Trainer 6: Manhattan Police is the Japanese release of the game later localized in North America as Street Cop. Using Side B of the Family Trainer or Power Pad, you run through city streets, turn into alleys, dodge hazards, strike criminals with a club, and use collected equipment. Each timed stage asks you to follow the map marker, catch a required number of suspects, and face a tougher target, making accurate footwork as important as raw speed.
