How to Play Street Cop
Quick start
Configure Power Pad Side B before playing online. Begin with both feet mapped to 6 and 7, then alternate them to run toward the X on the city map. Learn 5 and 8 for sidesteps and 10 or 11 for a quick turnaround. When you catch a suspect, step on 4 to attack with the club; use 2+6 or 3+7 to enter openings on the corresponding side. Conserve limited-use items for dangerous enemies.
Controls
Power Pad Side B: alternate 6 and 7 to move at increasing speeds, jump off both to jump, 10/11 to turn, and 5/8 to sidestep. Step on 4 for the club and 1, 9, or 12 to use items; 2+6 enters left-side openings and 3+7 enters right-side openings. Controller: START begins, SELECT handles the post-game choice, A uses the club, B fires or uses an item, and the D-pad has no gameplay function.
Street Cop — About this game
Street Cop is the North American version of Family Trainer 6: Manhattan Police, built around the Power Pad rather than ordinary directional controls. You chase suspects through scrolling streets, use a small city map to locate the next target, duck into buildings and alleys, avoid obstacles, and fight with a club or collected items. Clear the required arrests within each stage's time limit to confront its main criminal; the mix of running rhythm and quick positional steps gives the game its unusual physical challenge.
