How to Play Final Fantasy V Advance
Quick start
Select New Game and follow Bartz and Boko toward the fallen meteor. Rescue Lenna and Galuf, inspect the meteor site, then follow the cave route toward the pirate hideout and the Wind Shrine. Early battles are safest with regular attacks and healing items; once jobs unlock, learn a small set of abilities before changing jobs so useful commands can be carried over.
Controls
D-Pad: walk or move the cursor. A: confirm, talk, examine, and use vehicle actions. B: cancel; hold while moving to run. START: open the main menu. SELECT: unused in normal field play. L/R change menu or bestiary pages and switch characters; in battle use A to confirm, B to cancel, and hold L+R to flee.
