How to Play Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Quick start
Press START and begin a new file. During the opening tour, walk up to Frankie and press Up on the D-pad to talk, then use Up at the left-hand door to enter the Dining Room. Your first task is to reach the mirror on the top shelf; after learning to jump, explore the house and collect the mirror, toothpaste, soap, towel and blanket Duchess wants. Press SELECT to check the current item, and change between Mac and Bloo by approaching your partner and talking to him whenever a puzzle calls for the other character.
Controls
Menus: the D-pad selects, A confirms and B cancels or goes back; START pauses. In the house, the D-pad moves Mac or Bloo, while Up talks to the person or enters the door directly ahead. A jumps; Down+A drops through soft platforms and banisters. B uses the current character's ranged action—Bloo throws paper balls, and Mac later acquires Terrence's slingshot. SELECT shows the required item. Face your partner and press Up to ask him to take over.
