How to Play Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Quick start
Press START and begin a new file. In the opening tour, walk up to Frankie and press Up on the D-pad to talk, then use Up again at the left-hand door to enter the Dining Room. Your first objective is to get the mirror from the top shelf; after learning to jump, continue through the house and collect the mirror, toothpaste, soap, towel and blanket requested for Duchess. Press SELECT whenever you forget the current item, and switch between Mac and Bloo by walking up to your partner and talking to him when a puzzle needs the other character.
Controls
Menus: D-pad selects, A confirms and B cancels or returns; START pauses. Exploration: D-pad moves Mac or Bloo, and Up talks to a character or enters the door in front of you. A jumps; press Down+A to drop through soft platforms and banisters. B uses the active character's ranged action—Bloo throws paper balls, while Mac gains Terrence's slingshot later. SELECT displays the item currently required. To change characters, face your partner and press Up to ask for help.
