How to Play Gadget Racers
Quick start
Select New Game, enter the driver name using the arrow pad and A, then select the first body and name it. At first, only the Circuit Area is open on the world map, so equip it with road tires and finish in the top 3 in each race to make the next area appear. The necessary parts are determined for each area, so the key in the early stages is to check the participation conditions on the map and prepare tires and water/combat equipment in the garage that are suitable for not only speed but also the road surface.
Controls
Steering is on the left and right of the cross, and horn is on the top. A is accelerator/confirm, B is brake/cancel. On MT, press L to downshift, R to upshift, and on the map, press L/R to scroll the cursor. START is the pause menu or vehicle status display, SELECT is not used. Battle Area is limited to AT, L is for evasion, and R is for weapon attack after acquiring ammunition.
