How to Play Gadget Racers
Quick start
Choose New Game, enter a driver name with the D-Pad and A, then select and name a body style. The World Map opens with only the Circuit Area available; equip the required road tyres, enter each race and finish in the top three throughout the area to reveal the next destination. Early progress depends as much on Garage parts as driving, so check each area’s entry requirements before selecting it and fit terrain-appropriate parts instead of spending every credit on raw speed.
Controls
D-Pad Left/Right steers and Up sounds the horn; it also navigates menus. A accelerates and confirms, while B brakes and cancels. With manual transmission, L shifts down and R shifts up; on the map both shoulder buttons scroll the cursor. START opens the pause menu or displays car status, and SELECT is unused. In Battle Area, automatic transmission is forced: L dodges incoming fire and R fires the equipped weapon after ammunition is collected.
