How to Play X
Quick start
Begin with the coach training and practise ground steering and A laser fire before combat missions. In flight, Up lowers the nose and Down raises it. B uses EQUIP; START shows pause/power map during a mission.
Controls
Directional pad: ground speed up/down and turn left/right. Directional pad: flight/tunnel: up descends, down ascends, left/right turns. A: fire laser; confirm radar-base item. B: use displayed EQUIP tool. START: start; exit radar base; pause/power map in mission. SELECT: show mission number; release lock-on.

Ground travel, flight and tunnels use different views and steering responses, so the cockpit map and radar are important guides. A fires the laser, while equipped tools provide specialized actions.
