How to Play ATP Tour Championship Tennis
Quick start
Press Start, then choose Exhibition Match for a quick game or Begin ATP Tour to create a player and start a career. Beginners should enable the Ball Bounce Pointer in Options, because it marks the next bounce and makes court positioning easier. Move into place before the ball arrives, use a flat shot for pace, a slice to keep the trajectory low, or a lob when an opponent crowds the net. In career mode, distribute the ten starting points around the style you intend to play rather than spreading every rating evenly.
Controls
The D-pad moves your player and aims serves or volleys. A or C confirms menu choices, while B cancels. During play, A tosses the ball for a serve, hits a low-trajectory slice serve or shot, and lobs on a volley. B tosses for a high-bouncing serve or shot. C tosses for a flat, hard serve or shot and delivers a hard volley. Start pauses after a point and opens replay; the game cannot pause once the serve toss has begun and the ball is live.
