How to Play Light Crusader

Quick start

Explore the castle methodically, speak to townspeople and check rooms for missing citizens, keys and equipment. Use the sword for ordinary enemies and save magic points for groups or puzzle mechanisms. Push blocks onto switches, study elemental symbols and combine magic elements when a room's device demands it. Because the isometric view can hide height, align David with platforms before jumping and open the menu to equip stronger gear.

Controls

D-pad: move David and navigate menus. A: cast the selected magic or confirm. B: swing the sword, cancel or go back. C: jump or confirm. Start: open the equipment and status menu. Attack while jumping for aerial strikes; magic results depend on the equipped elemental combination.
