How to Play Laser Invasion
Quick start
Open Options before starting: choose Normal or Reverse helicopter pitch, select controller or light-gun input, and take five starting lives while learning. In flight, hold B for constant Vulcan fire, brake with A before barriers, and save missiles for bosses or urgent threats; extra fuel is a forgiving first equipment choice. During base shooting, clear immediate attackers before exposed supplies. In exploration, map each junction mentally, collect access items, and remember the route back because some objectives start a timed escape.
Controls
Helijet — D-pad: steer; hold A: decelerate to hover; hold B: Vulcan fire; double-tap B: missile or selected gear; SELECT: cycle missiles/gear; START: unused. Ground combat — D-pad or Zapper/LaserScope: aim; B: fire; repeatedly press A when captured to escape; SELECT/START unused. Base exploration — D-pad: move forward/turn; A: enter doors; B/SELECT/START unused.
Laser Invasion — About this game
Laser Invasion is Konami's 1991 NES first-person action game, known in Japan as Gun Sight. Four missions cycle through cockpit combat, shooting galleries and maze-like base infiltration. The Helijet must reach hostile installations while managing fuel, damage, missiles and optional equipment; on the ground, the player aims at soldiers and vehicles, then walks corridors to find cards, keys, rations and mission objectives before escaping. The shooting portions accept a controller, Zapper or Konami LaserScope. The North American release replaces the Japanese password system with five continues and selectable starting lives.
