How to Play Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Quick start
Press START, choose New Game and begin the adventure. The party-based journey introduces Harry, Ron and Hermione and soon teaches exploration and Magical Encounters. Talk, open doors and chests with A; use L/R to select the leader’s field spell and B to cast it. Entering a creature cloud begins a turn-based encounter, where you choose actions and targets with the D-Pad and A. Use each character’s unique spell—Lumos, Alohomora or Reparo—when the environment calls for it.
Controls
The D-Pad moves the party and menu cursor. A speaks, opens or confirms; B casts the selected field spell and cancels menus. L/R changes the active character’s available spell, which also makes that character leader. START opens/closes the in-game menu. During Magical Encounters, D-Pad highlights an action, spell or target, A confirms and B backs out. Mini-games display separate controls.
