How to Play Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Quick start
Press Start and select New Game to begin your adventure. The party-based journey features Harry, Ron, and Hermione and quickly teaches exploration and magical encounters. Talk to A and open the door and treasure chest. Select the leader's field magic with L/R and activate it with B. Entering the creature cloud begins a turn-based encounter, selecting actions and targets with the D-pad and A. Use each character's unique spells (Lumos, Alohomora, or Reparo) as the environment requires.
Controls
The D-Pad moves the party and menu cursor. A speaks, opens mouth, confirms. B activates the selected field spell and cancels the menu. L/R changes the active character's available spells and also makes that character a leader. START opens and closes the in-game menu. During Magical Encounters, highlight an action, spell, or target with the D-Pad, confirm it with A, and cancel it with B. Different controls appear for minigames.
