How to Play Snowboard Challenge
Quick start
Press START at the trail map. On open downhill sections, press Right to tuck and gain speed, steering with Up/Down; use Left to stand for tighter control. Jump small hazards with A and duck low barriers with B. Slalom gates must be passed, not bypassed. In the half-pipe, build height by holding Up toward the far wall and Down toward the near wall, then perform the indicated trick.
Controls
Up/Down: aim the board while standing, or steer toward the top/bottom while tucked. Right: tuck and accelerate; Left: stand upright. B: duck beneath obstacles. A: jump; A+Up: Toe Grab, A+Down: Hand-Plant, A+Right: Mid-Air 360, A+Left: Mule-Kick. START: start a run or pause; SELECT: select a new game.
Snowboard Challenge — About this game
Snowboard Challenge is the European release of Heavy Shreddin’, presenting five event types over 18 stages. Downhill demands pace as well as safe lines, while Slalom punishes missed gates. Half-pipe sections ask for particular tricks, Moguls force carefully timed jumps, and Backwoods combines hazards such as trees, streams and low barriers. You begin with four lives, lose one for a crash or failed qualification, and earn another for finishing a trail. Learning when to accelerate, stand upright, jump or duck is more useful than trying the same response at every obstacle.
