How to Play High Heat Major League Baseball 2003
Quick start
Choose Exhibition, place your club on the left against a visiting team and begin, or open Batting Practice before a full game. Time B to swing; use the D-Pad while batting to favor a fly ball, ground ball or left/right placement, and hold A for a bunt. When pitching, select a pitch with a held D-Pad direction plus A, then pick a location and confirm with A. Automatic Fielding is the easiest first setting while learning throws and runners.
Controls
B swings and holding A bunts; the D-Pad influences contact. Pitching uses D-Pad+A to select and locate a pitch, while D-Pad+B throws to a base for a pickoff. Fielding uses D-Pad to run and A/B with directions to throw to a base, cutoff or selected fielder as shown. L plus a direction advances runners and R plus a direction retreats them. START pauses. Menus use D-Pad, A select and B back.
