How to Play Rescue: The Embassy Mission
Quick start
Start with the lowest difficulty and TRAINING, then confirm the briefing and first operative with A. Use doorways and walls to hide from searchlights and follow the map to an X-marked sniper position. After deployment, use a sniper to cover the entry side. Lower an assault member with short Down presses, stopping with Up; at a clear window press A to enter. Inside, follow the floor map and distinguish captives from enemies.
Controls
START starts; menus use the D-pad and A to confirm, B to cancel. Street: Left/Right moves, Up hides or enters a position, Down leaves cover or lies prone; Down+Left/Right rolls, and A/B shows the map while hidden. Sniper: D-pad aims, A fires, SELECT returns to the team map. Rappel: Down descends, Up stops, A enters a window. Indoors: Up advances, Left/Right turns, Down turns around; A fires, and holding A with the D-pad aims. SELECT returns to the map; START pauses.
Rescue: The Embassy Mission — About this game
Rescue: The Embassy Mission turns one hostage crisis into several connected kinds of play. First, three snipers must reach marked positions outside the embassy without being caught in the moving searchlights. Their surviving positions determine which sides of the building you can cover. You then watch windows through a scope, reducing the danger before lowering the assault team from the roof. Rappelling demands short, controlled movements: dropping too far can cost an operative before he even reaches a room. Inside, the view changes to first person and the floor map helps you locate enemies and captives. The challenge is to coordinate these stages within the mission's time limit, not to rush in firing at every figure.
