How to Play Hot Potato!
Quick start
Choose Mission for a stage-by-stage first run or Score when you want score targets, then begin the opening road. Your potato bus carries six red and blue potatoes in two rows: rearrange the load, line its colors up with matching potato groups approaching on the road and fire a three-potato volley to clear them. In Mission, preserve lives and complete each stage's collection requirement; in Score, reach the required points. Clear the road early—large piles can block and eventually explode the bus—and use combos to earn points and extra lives.
Controls
D-pad: select a menu item and move between choices. A: flip/reorder the two potato rows. B: fire the selected three-potato volley. L/R: shift the potatoes through the bus one position at a time so the next volley has the needed color order. START: start or pause play. Match red shots to red road potatoes and blue to blue; a mismatched order will not clear the group efficiently.
