How to Play Lufia: The Ruins of Lore

Quick start

Select a new game, name your hero and start with Parcelite. Once you're on the move, exit the castle on the west side of town and progress through the opening story, following your assigned journey and speaking to the townspeople before entering the new ruins. In dungeons, switch lead characters when you need unique field actions, and use church saves and quick saves before long explorations.

Controls

D-pad moves and selects commands. Talk, search, load, confirm; B performs or cancels the lead character's field actions. In the dungeon, L changes direction with the active character and R, causing the party to rotate without stepping. SELECT opens the camp menu and quick help. START creates a surround/quick save. The preservation of the church continues and resumes from the preservation.
