How to Play Lufia: The Ruins of Lore
Quick start
Choose New Game, name the hero and begin in Parcelyte. Once you can move, visit the castle on the west side of town to advance the opening story, then follow the assigned journey and speak to townspeople before entering new ruins. In dungeons, switch the lead character when a unique field action is needed, and use a church save plus Quick-Save before a long exploration.
Controls
D-pad moves and selects commands. A talks, searches, reads and confirms; B performs the lead character’s field action or cancels. In dungeons, L changes the active character and R held with a direction turns the party without stepping. SELECT opens the Camp menu and quick help. START creates a suspend/Quick-Save; church saves are resumed through Continue from Save.
