How to Play King's Quest - Quest for the Crown
Quick start
Press 1 to begin and visit the castle first. Explore nearby screens, inspect objects and select STATUS to check your possessions. Record the code under QUIT before a dangerous experiment.
Controls
D-pad: move Graham or navigate lists. 1: open the command menu and confirm a verb or noun; 2 cancels a selection. Outside that menu, 2 opens the action/control menu and confirms its entries. On the alphabet screen, 1 enters a letter and 2 deletes it.
King's Quest - Quest for the Crown — About this game
Sir Graham must recover Daventry’s magic mirror, shield and chest to earn the crown. This adventure rewards close observation: collect useful objects, examine each new location and combine verbs with suitable nouns to solve problems. The Master System edition uses controller menus for commands and an on-screen alphabet when words are needed. Graham has only one life, so map dangerous places and record a password before taking a risk. Clever solutions and useful discoveries also raise your score.
