Practise skating into open ice, pass to a teammate and move the puck into a clear shooting lane.

Directions skate and position the player. Use passing to move the puck to a teammate and shooting to try for goal.
Slap Shot — About this game
Move the puck around the rink with skating, passes and shots. A teammate in open ice offers another angle, so look beyond the player directly in front of you before forcing an attack. Passing creates space for a shot, but the receiver also needs room to continue. Follow the puck after a pass and prepare the next position rather than stopping to watch it travel. A controlled approach makes a shooting chance easier to judge.
