How to Play Isolated Warrior

Quick start

Choose NEW GAME on the title screen and press A. Move with the Control Pad and fire with B, first learning where your character sits on the angled roadway. Press A to jump; hold it for a somersault, or press it again while airborne to launch a bomb. Use SELECT to compare W's wider coverage with L's focused fire, and collect the matching weapon items to build them up. Keep an eye on gaps and avoid getting pinned against buildings. Record each stage-clear password; select PASSWORD from the title and enter the code to return later.

Controls

Control Pad: move in eight directions. B: fire the selected beam. A: jump; hold for an aerial somersault; press A again during a jump to launch a bomb if you have ammunition. SELECT: switch between W spreading and L focused fire. START during play: pause. On the title screen, choose NEW GAME and press A to begin, or select PASSWORD to enter a stage-clear code and confirm it with A. Bomb direction can be adjusted with the Control Pad at the lower power levels.

Isolated Warrior — About this game

Isolated Warrior mixes a scrolling shooter with the need to judge jumps and safe landing spots. Max Maverick refuses to abandon Pan after an alien invasion and fights through ruined surroundings on foot, by motorcycle, and by hovercraft. Two beam modes offer different coverage: W spreads attacks across the field, while L concentrates fire and gains backward shots as it develops. Both can be upgraded, and bombs provide another way to handle dangerous groups from the air. A health bar allows some mistakes, but a fall or being crushed by the scenery still costs a life. The changing terrain makes watching the road just as important as aiming at enemies. Stage-clear passwords let you return to later sections for another attempt.
