How to Play Metal Slug Advance
Quick start
Choose Game Start, select a file and character, then enter Mission 1. Move right through the jungle, rescue prisoners and collect cards while keeping the life gauge above zero. At the opening, shoot the first soldier, aim upward above the starting point to reveal a hidden prisoner, then use the waiting Metal Slug; conserve grenades and cannon shells for armoured enemies.
Controls
D-pad moves and aims; Down crouches. A jumps and confirms. B fires the current weapon or uses a knife at close range and cancels in menus. R throws a grenade on foot or fires the cannon in a vehicle. L triggers the Metal Slug Attack or a card-granted stealth ability. Down+A exits a vehicle, and START opens the pause menu; SELECT is unused.
