How to Play Metroid: Zero Mission

Quick start

Select a file in "START GAME" and start from Brinstar. From the landing point, go left and get the Morph Ball from the birdman statue, then go back to the right and press down twice to pass under the obstacle. Go through the blue hatch and aim for the first missile tank and the guiding bird figure. After examining the Birdman statue, check the map and don't force yourself to go down a path that requires unacquired abilities.

Controls

D-pad: Move, up to aim straight up/cliff grab, down to crouch/morph ball. A: Jump/Decision. B: Shoot/Cancel. Aim diagonally while holding L. Press R and B to select the missile. Press START to change the map/status, and after obtaining the super missile, press SELECT to switch the ammunition type. Jump to the wall and press +A in the opposite direction when making contact.
