How to Play Kid Klown in Night Mayor World
Quick start
Press START at the title. Practice moving and jumping with the Control Pad and A, then hold B to inflate a balloon and release B to throw it. Try aiming upward with Up before releasing. For a wide gap, jump with A and keep B held so Kid floats down slowly. For height, hold Down while pressing and releasing B to place a balloon, then jump onto it quickly. Gather strawberries for the bonus game and watch the heart meter. START pauses during play; press it again to resume.
Controls
Left/right: move; continued movement increases speed. Down: duck. A: jump. B: inflate a balloon, hold it, then release to throw. Up with B: throw upward. In the air, hold a direction and release B to throw that way. Hold B while airborne to float. Down with a B press/release places a balloon to bounce from. START: begin or pause/resume. SELECT at the title: toggle background music; it is not used during normal play.

Kid Klown in Night Mayor World begins after a sinister magician takes Kid's family away. The rescue journey turns his circus balloons into a set of practical platforming tools rather than a single attack. Holding a balloon slows a fall, throwing one can clear an enemy, and leaving one on the ground creates a brief opportunity for a higher bounce. Running speed builds as you keep moving, so tight ledges call for more care than a flat stretch. Strawberries feed into the between-stage bonus game, giving you chances to win useful recovery items and extra lives. This American NES version stars Kid Klown and the Night Mayor, not Mickey and a sleeping Minnie. It is also a side-view balloon adventure, not the later isometric Crazy Chase game.
