How to Play Circus Caper
Quick start
Choose START with Up or Down on the title screen and press START. The opening odd/even dice scene can end the story with GAME OVER if you win; the action follows the other outcome. Once playing, move with Left/Right, jump with A and punch with B. Use Down + B against low enemies. Collect food for health. SELECT cycles speech bubbles and B deploys the selected one; cycle to no displayed bubble when you want an ordinary punch. The Dan bubble can be placed during a small jump and used as a step. After a failure, choose CONTINUE with Up/Down and press START.
Controls
Left/Right move; Down crouches. Up enters designated bags in stage 1, doors in stage 6 and side-game entrances. A jumps and advances messages. B punches or deploys the selected speech bubble; Down + B kicks. SELECT cycles bubble powers, including the blank selection for ordinary punching. On the title screen, Up/Down chooses START or CONTINUE and START begins/resumes. These inputs follow the Japanese booklet; the American game's pause and circus-specific scenes are not assumed here.
Circus Caper — About this game
Moeru! Oniisan uses the cast and comic tone of The Burning Wild Man rather than Circus Caper's circus story. Kenichi's family trouble leads to Yukie's kidnapping and a search for five sacred objects tied to Dra Gon's power. Across six stages, punches and kicks produce food and collectible speech bubbles. Some bubbles attack, while others surround the hero or remain in midair as platforms. Choosing an appropriate bubble is as important as handling a jump. Optional side games interrupt the action, and changing routes demand attention to entrances and gaps rather than fighting every endlessly appearing enemy.
