Renegade — About this game

Renegade puts a lone fighter against gangs that attack from both sides. Moving up and down is as important as advancing across the stage: line up a punch, evade a counterattack and avoid being caught between opponents. A and B do not simply mean punch and kick; their effects reverse when the fighter turns. You can follow a stun with a knee or throw, attack fallen enemies and use running strikes to scatter a group. Four stages lead from the subway to a maze, with a motorcycle sequence along the way. Three difficulty settings change the challenge, and the American release replaces Kunio's Japanese school-gang setting with a different cast.
