Nintendo World Cup — About this game
Nintendo World Cup turns soccer into a boisterous contest of powerful shots and physical challenges. You directly control one player while the rest follow your tactics and button commands. Ask for a pass, order a shot or tell a nearby teammate to tackle instead of trying to do everything yourself. Thirteen national teams offer different strengths, and the tournament requires twelve victories. Two players can cooperate through that challenge; separate match modes support head-to-head play, including three- and four-player setups with the appropriate multiplayer adapter. Position assignments and strategy choices matter before kickoff, especially when deciding whether the goalkeeper should leave the net to help an attack.
