Saiyuuki World 2: Tenjoukai no Majin — About this game

Sun Wukong leaves Flower-Fruit Mountain to recover the seven celestial jewels stolen by Mara. Rather than retracing the earlier game’s adventure structure, this sequel builds its action around a staff, jumping and a set of selectable realms. An introductory stage leads to six regions that can be cleared in any order, with their guardians unlocking different magical abilities. Fire provides another attack, the spinning staff breaks certain obstacles, and a cloud offers a new way across difficult terrain. The staff can also block overhead attacks and strike vertically during jumps, so placement matters as much as rapid attacks. Hearts restore health and gourds raise its limit as the journey continues. Completing the six realms opens the final challenge. This is the Japanese original, with Wukong and the celestial-jewel story, before the American adaptation Whomp ’Em.
