How to Play SpongeBob SquarePants and Friends: Battle for Volcano Island
Quick start
Select NEW GAME, finish the Tutorial, then continue through Ghost Blocks into the Beach stages. Guide both assigned heroes and use L whenever the other character's skill is needed. Early levels introduce Mawgu Ooze obstacles and the search for parts of Jimmy's Rift Zipper, so follow each ability prompt rather than trying to force one hero through every route.
Controls
The D-Pad moves and selects, A jumps, B uses the normal character action, L swaps heroes and START pauses. R activates character skills: SpongeBob uses B for bubbles and R for Worm Dig; Danny toggles Ghost Mode with R; at a Hook Point Timmy holds R, aims with the D-Pad and releases to launch; Patrick holds R on sticky walls and uses A for Parachute Pants once recovered.
