How to Play Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island
Quick start
Choose NEW GAME and complete the Tutorial before entering Ghost Blocks and the Beach stages. Move both assigned heroes through the route, swapping with L whenever one character's ability is required. The early campaign teaches you to clear Mawgu Ooze obstacles and gather the parts needed for Jimmy's Rift Zipper; do not rush past ability prompts, because SpongeBob's bubbles, Danny's Ghost Mode and later heroes open different paths.
Controls
Use the D-Pad to move and navigate; A jumps, B performs the normal character action, L swaps heroes and START pauses. Character specials use R: SpongeBob blows bubbles with B and activates Worm Dig with R; Danny toggles Ghost Mode with R; Timmy hangs from a Hook Point, then holds R, aims and stretches with the D-Pad and releases R to launch; Patrick holds R to cling to sticky walls and uses A for Parachute Pants after finding them.
