How to Play Wrath of the Black Manta
Quick start
Press START and check your equipped arts. Learn ordinary attacks and jumps first, then hold B to fill POW and release it with different directions. Use SELECT to revisit the spell book when a situation calls for another art.
Controls
Left/right: move; up: enter doors; down: crouch. A: jump; down+A: descend. B: ranged stars or close sword. Hold/release B for magic: neutral group A, left/right B, down C, up D. SELECT: spell book. START: begin/pause.
Wrath of the Black Manta — About this game
Ninja Cop Saizou puts a New York police ninja on the trail of the organization that kidnapped his son and other children. Its side-scrolling action combines thrown stars, close-range sword attacks and directional charged spells. This Japanese original has six rounds and a deliberately oddball presentation. The western Black Manta adaptation changed much more than the title: music, scenes and the arrangement of ninja arts differ, so its spell names and final-boss instructions should not be applied blindly here.
