Nobunaga's Ambition II — About this game
The Japanese Famicom Sengoku Gunyuuden puts the people carrying out your orders at the heart of the campaign. Retainers have different political and military abilities, and each order requires enough action points from the officer assigned to it. Land development, flood protection, trade and training compete for your attention with diplomacy and war. Searching for new followers and rewarding existing ones helps turn captured territory into a realm you can actually govern. Monthly recovery means that spending every officer's strength immediately is not always the best preparation for the next turn. Its command-driven pace allows you to build an economic base or pursue a more aggressive expansion, but either approach depends on matching your resources and officers to the task.
