How to Play Riot Zone
Quick start
Choose Hawk or Tony and begin the first street fight. Practice a short combination, keep enemies on one side and move away from a boss after testing its attack reach.
Controls
The direction pad moves the fighter through the stage. II attacks and I jumps; combine movement and attacks for additional techniques. RUN pauses the game.
Riot Zone — About this game
The crime syndicate Dragon Zone has taken Hawk’s girlfriend, drawing him and fellow detective Tony into a violent journey through its territory. Crest of Wolf is the Japanese release of Riot Zone, with side-scrolling stages that fill with opponents before the heroes can continue. Ordinary strikes, jumps and close encounters give the combat its rhythm, while bosses require more patience than a crowd of weaker enemies. Avoid standing between two approaching groups, and use movement to line up opponents before beginning a combination. The city setting and detective story supply the reason for the fight, but surviving depends on recognizing an opening and leaving enough space to recover after attacking.
