How to Play Polarium Advance
Quick start
On a new file, select Training; all main modes stay locked until every lesson is finished. Move the free cursor with the Control Pad, press A or L to start one continuous route, trace through the tiles and press A or L again to flip them. Each horizontal row must end in one colour, and the route may use the empty outer frame but cannot cross the same tile twice. Complete the special-tile, skills and additional-control lessons to unlock Stage and Time Attack, then play Daily Polarium to add solved boards to the reference collection.
Controls
Control Pad: move the cursor and navigate menus. A or L: confirm, start a route and flip its selected tiles. B or SELECT: cancel the route or menu choice. R: toggle scroll and overview/zoom. START: pause; hold it in Stage mode to show the previous route. Edit mode uses START for the next creation step, SELECT for the previous step, the Control Pad to change height/width, and A/B to change tile type. L, the Control Pad and SELECT also allow one-handed play.
