How to Play Prehistorik Man
Quick start
Select GAME START and enter Stage 1, Jungle Steps. Go right and speak to the Village Elder for the GBA running lesson, then make for the Goal Post while gathering food for the village. Bounce from enemies to reach high pickups, collect bones for the shops and look above and below the obvious route for gems and lasting upgrades. For long jumps, hold Up with Left or Right to run and press A at the edge. Keep the scream for a dense group or hazard and use R only when the Scream Bar flashes.
Controls
Control Pad Left/Right: move; Up: enter doors; Down: crouch and crouch-walk. Hold Up with Left/Right: run in the GBA edition. A: jump. B: use the current weapon. R: scream while the Scream Bar is flashing. Hold L with the Control Pad: look around. START: pause. Invention controls are contextual: hold Jump for extra pogo-stick height, and use Down/Up to dive and gain lift with the hang glider.
