How to Play Raid on Bungeling Bay
Quick start
Use SELECT to choose single-player GAME A and press START. Once serviced on the carrier, press A or B to launch. Practice turning with left/right and accelerating with up before attacking. Use A against nearby defenses and B over a factory. Follow the carrier arrow home when bombs run low; stop or move very slowly above the deck and press A or B to land. You cannot land during an ALERT.
Controls
Up moves forward; hold it to accelerate. Down reverses, stopping when released. Left/right rotate the helicopter rather than sliding it sideways. A fires the forward machine gun; B drops bombs. Over the carrier at a stop or very low speed, either A or B lands; either launches after servicing. SELECT chooses the game; START begins or pauses/resumes. In 2-PLAY, controller 1 flies while controller 2 turns enemy turrets and fires bullets with A or guided missiles with B.
Raid on Bungeling Bay — About this game
Raid on Bungeling Bay makes every sortie a choice between pressing the attack and protecting your support ship. Factories keep producing defenses and become harder to destroy over time, so scattered bombing runs can waste precious ammunition. Clear nearby turrets with the forward gun, then concentrate bombs on one factory until it is gone. Your carrier repairs damage and reloads bombs, but enemy bombers can sink it, taking away that lifeline. ALERT calls for an immediate return to defend the ship; WARNING signals the developing battleship threat. The world wraps at its edges, rewarding a mental map rather than a straight rush toward a finish line.
