How to Play Rayman Advance
Quick start
Choose one of the three save slots with Up/Down and A, enter a name, point to Start and press A. Enter the Dream Forest and begin Pink Plant Woods. Move right, jump across flowers and climb vines toward the exit. Free any cages you can reach, but do not stall on the three inaccessible cages: the fist, hanging and grabbing powers arrive later and are required for a return visit. The long-term goal is to free every Electoon, recover the Great Protoon and stop Mr Dark.
Controls
D-Pad moves Rayman and menu cursors; Down crouches and Down+Left/Right crawls. A confirms and jumps; after the helicopter power is earned, press A again in the air to glide. B throws the fist after it is unlocked; hold B for longer range, and B also uses the grabbing fist. R performs context actions and later activates running or plants a magic seed. SELECT returns to the previous menu. The public GBA manual reviewed does not state a pause-button assignment, so follow the on-screen prompt rather than assuming one.
