How to Play Robopon 2: Cross Version
Quick start
Select New Game, enter Cody's name and birthday, then leave the first house in Baba Village. Visit Hoffman's beach house to receive the Menuscrin Folder, obtain the Ion Battery from the dog, and ask the red-haired orphan then Nick D about the locked cave to receive its key. Collect the Sun and Moon Batteries inside. Open START > Battery and spark two batteries for your first Cross-version Robopon: Moon+Ion makes the unique SunZero, Sun+Ion Hexbot and Moon+Sun Scooter. Equip a suitable Part, defeat both village guards and leave for Hindo Town. Save before sparking if you want to compare starters.
Controls
D-pad: move Cody, select a world-map destination and move cursors. Hold B while moving: dash. A: talk, inspect, enter/confirm and advance text. B: cancel. START: open the field menu for Robopon, items, batteries and Save. In shops/status screens use D-pad, A to decide and B to cancel; in battle the same inputs choose Fight/AutoBat and commands, and B can cancel only before the Battle Slot starts spinning. L/R switch character sets while entering a name and provide context-specific list/detail functions.
