How to Play Robopon 2: Ring Version
Quick start
On the title screen, select the item corresponding to "From the beginning" and enter the main character's name and birthday. When you wake up in Baba Village, meet Hoffman at the house to the right of the stairs on the beach and receive a folder for the menu screen. Get the ion battery from the dog, proceed with the story between the red-haired boy and Nick D to get the cave key, and collect the solar battery and lunar battery in the cave. Create the first Robopon by sparking two batteries, equip it with the corresponding parts, then defeat the guard on the right side of the beach, then the guard on the left side, and proceed to Hindo Town. It is safe to save from the in-game menu before leaving the village.
Controls
Field: Move with the cross button, press A to enter/converse/investigate/confirm the building, hold B to dash. Zoom out with L and zoom in with R. Menu/Battle: Select the cursor or icon with the cross button, press A to confirm, and press B to cancel (cannot be canceled once the battle slots have started spinning). The English version of the manual states that L, R, START, and SELECT are not used on the battle screen, and dedicated battle pose operations cannot be confirmed.
