How to Play Sega Arcade Gallery
Quick start
From the collection menu, choose After Burner, OutRun, Super Hang-On or Space Harrier. OutRun makes a straightforward first game: pick the music, accelerate away, reach checkpoints before the timer expires and choose a route at each fork. Super Hang-On asks you to select a course and race between checkpoints. In After Burner, take off from the carrier and combine gunfire with lock-on missiles; in Space Harrier, keep circling incoming fire while shooting towards the stage boss. The unmodified release does not preserve high scores after the system is switched off.
Controls
Collection menus use the Control Pad to select, A to confirm, B to return and START to start or pause. OutRun and Super Hang-On: Left/Right steers, A accelerates, B brakes and R changes gear. After Burner: Control Pad moves the aircraft, A fires the gun and B launches locked-on missiles; hold L+R and sweep the Control Pad side to side for a barrel roll. Space Harrier: Control Pad moves and A fires. These are mappings documented for the GBA compilation.
