How to Play Shining Soul
Quick start
Press START, choose Single Player and select an empty file. Pick one of the Warrior, Wizard, Archer or Dragonute classes, choose a colour and enter a name. After checking the shops in town, leave across the bridge at the end of the path and enter the red location on the world map. The first dungeon has three floors; defeat enough enemies on each floor to reveal the stairs. Fight one enemy at a time with A and keep a healing item in the right quick slot.
Controls
D-pad moves and selects menu items. A attacks with the equipped weapon or spell, talks, opens chests, activates stairs and confirms. B uses the selected right-slot item and cancels. L cycles the left quick slots for weapons or spells; R cycles right quick-slot items. START opens the game menu. SELECT summons a monster spirit when one is available. Control Type B in Options swaps the A/B attack and item assignments.
