How to Play Smashing Drive
Quick start
Press Start at the title screen and begin with the Early Bird shift. Your first objective is to deliver each passenger before time runs out and cross the finish ahead of the rival cab. Follow the route markers, pass through TIME EXTENDED gates and learn the Risky Route shortcuts rather than remaining on the longest streets. Collect Turbo, Big Foot and Cutter icons when they fit your route; for an opening run, a clean shortcut and extra time matter more than smashing every obstacle.
Controls
Use the +Control Pad to move through menus and steer the cab. The default driving layout uses A to accelerate, B to brake and R to sound the horn; Start begins or pauses play. A confirms a menu choice and B cancels. The GBA version allows the gas, brake and horn assignments to be customised in Options, so check that menu if the buttons differ. Braking into a corner produces a useful skid, while the horn encourages traffic to clear your path.
