How to Play Soccer Kid
Quick start
Choose START GAME and enter Soccer Kid's home-town section in England. Head right, send the football ahead to remove enemies and break open chests, and kick it into 'i' markers to read local hints. Find the exit before the scene timer expires. For the Cup piece, search the upper and lower routes for all 11 football cards so that the timed bonus game becomes available. Try not to summon needless replacement balls, as the number of balls retained contributes to the scene bonus.
Controls
Run with Left/Right on the D-pad and duck with Down; press Down while running for a slide. B jumps, with a longer hold giving a higher leap. A handles the football: tap it beside the ball to kick or juggle, or stand still and hold A for roughly a second to summon another ball. Down+A drops through a thin platform. When directly above the ball in the air, press Down to land on it and use it to reach higher ground. START pauses.
